Info about my PT Cruiser
I bought a PT cruiser in 2000 when they first came out. We saw it at the Philadelphia car show and I put one on order and it arrived in July. It is a super car, I love how the seats fold down and how the rear ones can come out to create additonal space. It holds all my kites (and string, carts, etc.) The longest thing I've carried is an 8 foot step ladder. The biggest was the 40" game ball for a robot competition. It has a small compartment where the jack is stored, it was big enough to put a amateur radio amplifier. I have a green Touring edition with a sunroof.
August 2010Eleven years after getting the PT Cruiser it rolled past 100,000 miles on 11 August. It's been pretty reliable with only the normal maintenance stuff like brakes, oil and tires. The air conditioning has been on the wane for awhile so in celebration I had the system recharged ($230).They were not able to find a leak and I'm hoping it's not the compressor since that's a $700 repair.
There are also some other cool cars that I think are neat. One of the front runners to replace the Cruiser is the Scion xB and the Nissan Cube Links
